Privacy Policy
1.1 Who we are
CyberTabX ("we," "us," or "our") operates cybertabx.com and a family of connected products, including TabFin (finance.cybertabx.com), TabNews (news.cybertabx.com), and any additional products we launch. Contact: hello@cybertabx.com.
1.2 What we collect
We collect and store:
- Email addresses you give us when you sign up for waitlists, contact us, or subscribe to updates
- Aggregated usage analytics via Google Analytics 4 (page views, device type, approximate country)
- Push notification tokens via OneSignal, only when you opt in
- Messages you send us via email or forms
Our data practices may evolve as our products do. Any changes will be reflected in updates to this policy.
1.3 What stays on your device
Most of our products store your data directly in your browser using localStorage:
- Your financial entries in TabFin stay on your device
- Your reading history and saved articles in TabNews stay on your device
- Your preferences, settings, and app state stay on your device
We do not have a copy of this data. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, this information stays where it is.
If you choose to use TabPulse, your financial context is shared with Google Gemini to generate insights. This happens only after you explicitly consent. CyberTabX does not receive or store this data.
1.4 How we use what we collect
- Email addresses — to send you what you signed up for and respond to your messages
- Analytics — to understand which features are useful and what to improve
- Push tokens — to send notifications you've opted in to
- Messages — to respond to your queries
1.5 Third-party services
We rely on a small set of trusted providers:
Currently in use:
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregated usage analytics
- Google Gemini — AI-generated insights in TabPulse (opt-in only)
- OneSignal — push notifications
- Netlify — hosting and form submissions
- Zoho Mail — email handling
As our products grow, we may introduce additional services including advertising, affiliate tracking, payment processing, and additional infrastructure services. Any new services will be governed by an updated version of this policy.
1.6 Your choices
- Delete locally-stored data by clearing site data in your browser
- Unsubscribe from emails by replying to any email from us, or contacting hello@cybertabx.com
- Disable or revoke push notifications in your device settings or inside our products. Push notifications are sent only after you explicitly opt in.
- Opt out of analytics using a tracker-blocking browser or Google's Analytics Opt-out Add-on
- Contact us at hello@cybertabx.com for any other request relating to your data
1.7 Children
Our products are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us.
1.8 Changes
When we update this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Cookie Policy
2.1 What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and tracking pixels. This policy uses "cookies" as a general term for all of these.
2.2 Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies — essential for our products to work. These cannot be switched off and include session cookies, security cookies, and the localStorage we use to save your preferences and product data.
Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use our products. We use Google Analytics 4 for this purpose. You can opt out using Google's Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
Advertising cookies — when we run advertisements through Google AdSense or similar services, those services may set cookies to serve relevant ads, measure ad performance, and limit the number of times you see the same ad. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our sites or other sites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our sites and other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
Functional cookies — remember choices you make, such as your theme preference (light or dark), to provide a more personalised experience.
2.3 Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services that appear on our pages, including:
- Google Analytics
- Google AdSense (when active)
- OneSignal
- Affiliate tracking services (when you click affiliate links)
We do not control these third-party cookies. Please refer to each provider's privacy policy for more information.
2.4 Managing your cookie preferences
- Cookie consent banner — when you first visit our sites, you'll see a banner allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
- Browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of our products.
- Opt-out tools — Google Analytics and Google Ads both provide dedicated opt-out tools.
